"Red Cross" from the forthcoming album,
"Green on The Scene"
I believe every great jazz musician should record a song written over George & Ira Gershwin’s "I Got Rhythm" at least once in their career. Its harmonic structure is quintessential in understanding improvisation. "Red Cross" is one of the first recordings of Charlie Parker's music I ever heard and it's one of my favorite interpretations on "I Got Rhythm."
